Shade Soul is a spell upgrade to the Vengeful Spirit. Shade Soul will increase the damage dealt by 33%, make the shot bigger as well as allow the spell to travel through walls.

How to Find Vengeful Spirit?
- Purchase the elegant key from Sly in Dirtmouth for 800 geo
If Sly is not selling the elegant key, you will need to find the Shopkeeper’s Key in Crystal Peak. The key can be found one room left from the upper bench and immediately up the first path.
- Travel to the City’s Storeroom in City of Tears
From there make your way around to a locked door.
- Fight the Soul Warrior
- Examine the Snail Shaman
From here you will have the Shade Soul. This is very helpful when fighting some of the harder bosses or lots of little enemies at range.
