The Abyss Shriek is an upgrade to the Howling Wraiths and is the strongest spell in the game. The hardest part to getting the spell upgrade is making sure to have the King’s Brand ahead of time as well as the Howling Wraiths spell.

How to find the Abyss Shriek Spell:
- Start from the Hidden Stag Station and head to the left
- Drop down to make your way into the Abyss from the Ancient Basin
- If you have the King’s Brand the door will open for you
- Drop to the very bottom of the large room and head to the left
- Make your way to the end of the room and jump on the platform in the middle of the room. Use the howling wraiths spell. This will trigger a little scene that will end with you acquitting the Abyss Shriek.
The Abyss Shriek spell is critical to defeating some of the harder end game bosses. This one spell will deal 20 damage per hit, with no charms for a total of 80 damage if all the blasts land. With the Shaman stone the spell does an additional 50% damage meaning 30 damage per hit or a total of 120 damage.
